TORC Round 2
04-21-2012 This was a 50/50 weekend, Fridays night race ended with a mechanical and Sunday the #11 Team Realtree Energy/Maxxis tires Pro4 raced from last to second place. A flat tire in the first half of the race was changed in lighting speed by the Barlow Motorsports crew during the mandatory caution, leaving Adrian on the lead lap. The green flag dropped and Adrian was able to work his way thru the field, accomplishing the fastest lap to get the Oakley Bomb award. Overall a great weekend and the team can't wait to hit the next stop on the TORC tour. TDB

Season Opener for TORC, Welcome to Charlotte.
04-20-21012 Well folks, Charlotte is here this weekend. Adrian qualified 3rd in his Team Realtree Energy/Maxxis #11 Pro 4. Adrian qualified 3rd behind last years top two finishers.

The race kicked off to a flying start. Adrian was on pole next to Douglas. Charlotte is one of the tightest tracks in the series, passing is a very big challenge. The #11 truck did well defending off the the fierce competition. The #11 truck ended up with a mechanical issue and ended the night.

The truck has been fixed and ready to take on the race today, Adrian will be starting on the pole and chasing the podium tonight. Watch it live here tonight at 7:00 EST.

Rounds 11 and 12 wrapped up.
09-26-2011 This weekends events have wrapped up in sunny and warm Surprise, AZ. Adrian had a great qualifying on Friday, taking the 3rd place slot and inverting for the poll for Saturday. We did have to bow out a few laps short with a drive line issues. Saturday was shaping up to be a great race. We started on the poll and held the lead for the first few laps. Kyle and Rick made their way past and Carl was in the fight. WIth a few bumps from Carl, we got sent off track and sheered off the back of the transmission, closing out our Saturday. Sunday put us in the second row for the main. We held it all together and moved up to second place off the start. We were able to hold off the pack until Adrian got tangle up in a spin and thru him to the back of the pack. Adrian made a good push to get back up with the pack and we lost front drive, ending our Sunday. We would like to thank all of the crew and supporters for coming out in the 100+ degree heat. Make sure to tune into TORC for Chicago. - TB

Hot off the presses, Adrian's first person experience from his outstanding weekend at Crandon.
09-02-2011 Crandon Friday Race – Started on pole position and got a great start. Was first through turn one. First lap from a landrush start, the brakes are cold, so you have to be careful that they don’t work as well until they are up to temperature. You could overshoot the turns with cold brakes. However, entering the turns was fairly predictable, and opened up a decent lead. At the hairpin turn by the landrush start is the point where you can see where the other trucks are in comparison to you, and every lap looked better and better. At the competition yellow, got a decent start and was able to get into the same groove and pull away from the other trucks again. The checkered flag came easily.

Crandon Saturday Race – Started in last place which was on the outside of the second row. Was put to the back because we were late to the start line for the line up. To me this was a debatable call on the officials part. There was plenty of time to give us our spot back. Anyhoo – on the start, Johnny Greaves was on the pole and Ricky Johnson was next to him, and Steve Barlow and myself were behind them in the second row. Johnny and Ricky got a good start and I followed them into turn one. Johnny moved out away from the wall near the entry of turn one to get a better run at the corner, and had contact with Ricky. That allowed me to get in the mix, and I came out right behind those two and also Mark or Mike Jenkins, I think it was Mark.  I was able to pass Mark at the entry to Argon corner because he went a little wide to set up for the corner. Took a lap or so to catch up to Ricky and then went inside and passed him at the finish line turn. Coming down to the hairpin turn by the landrush start line I executed a perfect slide setup move to rail the inside trees of the hairpin , except for one major problem, my slide stopped about ten feet short of where it was supposed to end up, so I still had trees blocking me. Had to swing around and drive out of the missed slide and lost the position back to Ricky. On the mandatory caution restart, I went inside on Ricky at the gravel pit turn and drifted out on the exit. Ricky was coming thru on the same exit path just over a half car length behind and we had contact – His front tire hit my back tire. Completed the pass and then caught up to Johnny by the hairpin turn at the landrush start. Johnny pushed wide at the turn and I was able to get next to him and then drag race down the back straight into turn one. Got the lead and then opened up a cushion until the finish.

Crandon Sunday Race -  Started in seventh position next to Mike Jenkins and Kyle LeDuc. Got a good start and came out of turn one behind Mark Jenkins in second place. Was able to get around Mark and got into the lead. Once in the lead, there was racing going on behind and so a big gap opened up to second place. Steve Barlow was in second place behind me at the caution. I was thinking that a team one two finish would be fantastic. On the restart Steve was good about not having contact with me at the gravel pit turn, and then I was able to pull out a good gap to second place over the next couple of laps. The fight for second place made the gap grow a bunch and everything seemed fantastic until the last two laps when it started to rain, and the track became slippery and vision was a real problem. The inside of my helmet visor fogged up and I had to open the visor to see. It felt on my face and eyes like driving in a hail storm without a helmet, so I was very concerned that I would lose the lead. The lap time on the last lap increased by 20 seconds, but I was able to make it to the checkered for the win driving as if I was looking through a keyhole sized view of the track.

Crandon Sunday Cup Race -  Started on the pole and had a great run down to the first turn. Go the lead out of the Pro 4 pack and the truck was running great. Coming out of the hairpin by the landrush start line, I got more of a run out of the hairpin turn than usual and got into the small double jump very hot and got bucked high in the air. Landed hard on the front right wheel and blew out the cv joint. This kicked me wide into the grass field and I went into turn one with three wheel drive. I still did not know I was broken. I hit the brakes hard for the barn jump and the truck pulled out of control to the left because of not having drive in the front right side. I went over the jump completely sideways and miraculously did not flip and roll. I gathered myself up and fishtailed down to the gravel pit, but had lost four wheel drive and now had a flat tire from landing sideways. We were done. Man was that truck running strong. Thanks team – Jeff Frana, Kenny Stahlman, Steve Barlow, Bob, John, Jerry, Kenny, BK, Creighton at Maxxis, Mike at Roush, Charlie at ATD, Jessie, Ryan and the other team members who may or may not turn wrenches on the truck.  Special shootout to Lil Mama, cheer us on from above.

A weekend to remember
09-05-2011 Can you say "Winner" That's right, Adrian and his crew raced 4 for 4 races this weekend and dominated. Adrian and his Atrium/Maxxis #11 Pro 4 won, yes I said won, 3 out of the 4 races at Crandon this weekend. According to my sources at the race, it was a nail biting yet dominating experience. More to follow on this weekends events. TDB

Glen Helen Success
08-06-2011 - Glen Helen proved to be that a lot of blood, sweat and tears can pay off. After holding second place thru the entire race, highly predictable Carl found a small opportunity to slide his truck into second place giving the Atrium/Maxxis #11 a third place podium finish. TB

Crandon Weather
06-19-2011 The weather in Crandon was nice and wet for the canceled race on Sunday. Adrian hit the dirt hard with opening Crandon with the pole. Adrian pushed his way up to the front and lead the race for nearly the entire first lap. Then disaster struck when Adrian was setting up for a turn off of a nice jump and lost a bead resulting in a flat tire. Adrian had no choice but to let the field pass him by. Adrian changed the flat during the competition yellow and finished in 6th place. - TB

Crandon Pole
06-17-2011 That's right, the #11 Atrium/Maxxis Pro 4 ended up on the pole today and smoked the competition by nearly 2 seconds. Jeff and Ken have this truck dialed for Adrain. Crandon, here we come.
6-11-2011 Red Bud, not a good word to say about Red Bud. The #11 Atrium/Maxxis truck was still infested with bugs. After missing the green flag drop we didn't get to run a single lap. The truck has been shaken down and the bugs and issues have been fixed. With Crandon on the horizon, everything is in tip top shape to get Adrian on the winners stand. Stop by and see Adrian and wish him a Happy Fathers Day as well as good luck on the race. TB

Glen Helen Round 7
5-22-2011 Can the #11 Atrium/Maxxis truck get any faster? Adrian posted the second fastest time in qualifying with a 44.163. With the inverted start, Adrian started out in fourth place. When the green flag dropped Adrian moved his way up to the lead by turn 3. The #11 truck opened up the lead to around 6 truck lengths by the end of lap 2. Then the gremlins came to destroy our hopes for victory. A very simple failure to a wire insulation shorted out the electrical systems. Watch out for a come back. -TB

Glen Helen Round 5
5-21-2011 Adrian started out on the pole in today's race. After some contact with Renezeder in the first corner Adrian got a flat in lap 3 that put him one lap back. Adrian made it back to the field and ended up with some driveline issues. He ended up placing 9th. Once these little bugs are sorted out we should have a solid race tomorrow. - TB
